English Bettors are a Third of All European Internet Bettors

The online wagering business in the United Kingdom has increased two fold in five years, with more than one million punters regularly wagering by using the net. According to a poll administered by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, English bettors make up approximately one-third of Europe’s estimated total of 3.3 million web bettors.
The typical sum spent by each punter is estimated at one thousand pounds, with the European business now valued at £3 500 000 000 annually.
