Learning From My Gambling Failures
I have been betting on the internet or at land based gambling dens for a great many years. I have determined, the fixation usually will take a hold of you and you will not even see it up till you are beaten. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through uncounted hundreds of dollars in just a short period of time and at times, I still go too far. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself up until you make a choice to track your squanderings and the guilt sets in, and then you keep advising yourself "I am able to earn it back" at length. It does not work. Then you get icky in your gut and the more you try the faster you relinquish.
When you find that you are up, Remain in the Black! When you start to fritter away, do not convince yourself, "well only 1 more" a number of times, believe me, this plan RARELY ever functions. Say you plan on gambling on slots, keep a value separate ahead of beginning your action. DON’T go over that cap, no matter how appealing. If you happen to gain, put that in a separate canister. Don’t risk your profits regardless of what happens. Once you have wagered through your initial set threshold, stop. Depart, whether it’s on the internet or in a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stay at the tables or machines. Make sure to remember, there will be other days, another time. Obviously, this process can function for any casino game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, twenty-one or any other game.
Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be entertaining not burdensome, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If you can’t pay for the squanderings, don’t ever start.
