Internet Casino Sucker Bets — Part II
[ English ]
Progressive side wagers: Casino games such as Caribbean Stud Poker often have one of these. You typically place a wager (a dollar is the usual value) to attempt to win a side jackpot that can reach $25,000. Although huge jackpots like these are particularly appealing, they’re also very hard to succeed. You might have to get a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this bet. Also, imagine this- you play 20 hands and put the side wager every time. That is 20 dollars you should have used towards the actual game wager instead of a sucker wager. Picture what you could have been able to win at a bet with better odds using that 20 dollars.
Single number bets in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two zeroes on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just 1. This shifts the overall casino advantage from 2.63percent with a single zero wheel to a whopping 5percent in American. The single number bet has just a one in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red wagers as a substitute which have a much lower casino edge.
Keno: Any version of Keno, and anyway you play it, the casino advantage can be a whopping 25%. Yes, that was not a error. Because of the large amount of numbers you have to select, it is not recommended to bet on Keno to often. A number of times for entertainment, perhaps. But don’t waste all your money on it or you will immediately find yourself beaten.
