Also, picture this- you play twenty hands and put the side bet every time. That is twenty dollars you could have used towards the real game wager instead of a sucker wager. Individual number wagers in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. Why? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has only one. This shifts the overall house edge from twopercent with one zero wheel to a whopping 5.26percent in American. The individual number bet has only a one in 38 chance of succeeding, which are very long odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red bets alternately which have a much smaller casino edge.
Keno: Any version of Keno, and regardless of how you gamble on it, the casino advantage can be a whopping twenty-five percent. Yes, that is not a typo. Because of the huge amount of numbers you have to select, it is not advisable to wager on Keno to often. A few times for entertainment, maybe. But don’t spend all your money on it or you’ll quickly find yourself broke.
